Beatrice gets married in surprise Royal Wedding

Well, friends, as exciting as the early part of 2020 was for the Royal Family, since COVID-19 hit in mid-March, it’s been pretty doggone dull. With our favorite Family quarantined at their respective castles (literally), they’ve all been on tons of Zoom calls – but it doesn’t make for a super interesting blog post. Oh, look, they’re on Zoom again! Yeah, no. So that’s why you haven’t heard from me much lately – there just hasn’t been a whole lot to say.

Until today!

We had a surprise Royal Wedding this morning – Beatrice married Edo in a private, quiet ceremony today, in a ceremony originally scheduled for Friday, May 29 but delayed because of COVID-19. Actually, Bea is probably the only bride in the world whom coronavirus helped – it made a nice excuse for a totally off the radar wedding, with very limited guests and no press attention, which is probably exactly what Bea and her dad, Prince Andrew, wanted. (By the way, with the arrest of Jeffrey Epstein’s right-hand woman, Ghislaine Maxwell, I expect that Andrew’s date with justice is coming sooner rather than later. Just this week, his website was taken down, and it’s been confirmed that his career as a Royal is over – forever.)

Bea and Edo were married in Windsor at All Saint’s Chapel in Windsor Great Park, a short drive from Windsor Castle. Only about 20 guests were in attendance, including, yes, Her Majesty. Philip was also there.

I don’t have photos of Bea yet on her wedding day but as soon as I get some I will share.

I do have this recent photo of Bea though (see above) – looking as stunning as I’ve ever seen her. Love looks good on her.

CREDIT: THE DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE

As for our duchesses, Kate continues to stay busy on Zoom calls, debuting a lighter hue of hair this summer. She’s also been busy taking really cute family photos, like the one above.

Meghan is quarantining with Harry, Archie, and mom Doria in Los Angeles, appearing out in the city occasionally to volunteer or go to the dentist. (Yes, even duchesses need to visit the dentist!) Meghan debuted some really long, gorgeous hair when she spoke at the 2020 Girl Up Leadership Summit this week – take nine minutes and watch her keynote. It’s worth it! Click here.

We’ve seen much less of Meghan as she’s not taking endless Zoom calls like Kate is, and since Archewell has been delayed until likely next year.

Oh, and a happy 73rd birthday today to the other duchess, Camilla.

I’ll write when there’s news to write about – until then, stay safe, friends!
