See Meghan speak live + Kate wears a mask!

CREDIT: GETTY

Quick rundown today before my mind gets away with me and I forget to say what I want to say on here...

Most important: Meghan (and so many other incredible women) is speaking at The 19th Represents next week, in honor of the suffrage centennial this month. In a rare turn of events, Meghan will be the interviewer and not the interviewee when she interviews Emily Ramshaw, The 19th's cofounder and CEO, about "creating a transformative newsroom centered on gender equity." The best part? No matter where you are, you can attend, and FOR FREE! Spots are quickly filling up, so hop over to this site and register to claim your spot! I wouldn't miss it! (Scroll down to Day 5 to register for Meghan's portion.)

Kate stepped out for an in-person engagement this week wearing a mask! I was so proud of her for being responsible. But then the next day she didn't have one on, so I'm confused. Please, Kate, model the way for all of us as we try to flatten the curve!

As they do every August, the Queen and Philip are at Balmoral for their summer vacation. I, of course, was worried that it wouldn't get to happen this year because of COVID, but they are there and hopefully staying safe and healthy. Not even COVID can keep Her Majesty from her beloved summer home!

Finally, I have very few details, but here's what I do know about Meghan's birthday: Doria, who is living with Harry, Meghan, and Archie, watched her grandson so Harry and Meghan could have some alone time. Harry reportedly cooked a three-course meal, with Doria's assistance, and gave Meghan a necklace he designed and a framed photo of them that he took.

I'll be back next week as my copy of Finding Freedom arrives - I can't wait to share all of the juicy details with you! Get ready!
