Finally – Archie!
Even though Archie has been in country with his parents the entire time, the almost five-month-old finally made his debut today, his first official Royal event ever! And he picked a fantastic event to make his debut at – a visit with Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his daughter, Thandeka Tutu-Gxashe, at their legacy foundation.
First of all – Archie looks just like Harry when Harry was this age. We learned that Archie constantly wants to stand and explore (via his dad, Harry) and that he is an old soul and a flirt (via his mom, Meghan). Meghan also apparently calls Archie “Bubba,” which is adorable and perfect and everything.
Meghan looked gorgeous in a Club Monaco dress at the first event of the day, and at her second, she changed into a stunning black Everlane jumpsuit with sky-high Manolo Blahnik pumps to visit the Woodstock Exchange in Cape Town, where she met with female entrepreneurs who work in technology. Then it was off to the most recently added event on the tour, a stop at mothers2mothers, a charity that trains and employs women living with HIV as community health workers. While there, Meghan gave away two large bags of Archie’s outgrown clothes as well as clothes from some of her friends’ children.
Harry, for his part, is off on his solo leg of the tour, where he’ll visit Botswana, Angola, and Malawi.
